Product Installation

Sand Washer Installation: Open the accessory kit and remove the components: cleaning brush, duckbill suction inlet, sand washing hood, extended sand washing hood, rainwater filter box, and bottom suction base.

Selecting Accessories for Different Operating Environments:

(1) When there is not much sand or gravel to wash, you can use the sand washing hood.

(2) If the sand and gravel level is too high and material is being sucked into the impeller chamber, install the extended cover in addition to the sand-washing hood.

(3) When sucking up sewage or cleaning the bottom of a fish tank, use the duckbill suction nozzle or the cleaning brush.(Note: You can rotate the duckbill to your preferred angle for greater convenience.)

(4) For low-water-level filtration mode, use the base and the rain-style filter cartridge together.

Product Usage

⚪ Height Adjustment of the Sand Washer: Attach the appropriate extension tube according to your needs.

⚪ Start-up and Use: Place the sand washer in the fish tank so that the water pump is submerged below the water level. If the water level in the tank is too low, you can tilt the sand washer to submerge it in the water. Press the power switch to start the water flow, then lift the sand washer to resume normal operation.

⚪ Troubleshooting a Jammed Rotor: If the rotor becomes jammed by pebbles or aquatic plants during normal use, turn off the

power and remove the sand washer. Unscrew the locking nut at the front of the impeller chamber, remove the impeller cover, and clear any debris from the impeller chamber.

⚪ Handling Turbid Water: During operation, the sand washer may stir up fine sand and debris from the bottom, which can cause the water to become turbid for a short time. This issue can be quickly resolved using an aquarium filter.

⚪ Handling Sand and Gravel Accumulation: When an excessive amount of sand and gravel accumulates in the sand-washing hood during operation, lift the sand washer to allow the sand and gravel to fall out before resuming operation. This prevents them from being sucked into the impeller chamber and causing unnecessary blockages.

⚪ Maintenance: After using the sand washer, tilt it to drain any residual water, then disassemble the other parts, clean them, and let them air dry.

⚪ Long-Term Storage: If the product will not be used for an extended period, please store it in a dry environment.
